We grew A LOT over the past year. But as a vibrant startup community we have the energy and the potential to take the entrepreneurial idea of Hive to more places. And we think we should do it. Or at least be truthful to what we preach and try and fail! Remember? It's all about daring and not worrying too much on the way ;)
Why? We've been asked numerous times in the past months if we could be doing more events (trips, movie screenings, a bigger startup conference), events in other cities (Warsaw, Barcelona). We really would love to do it. We want to inspire more busy bees. But we can't do it alone. We need your help.
How CAN you help? Go start a Hive. Go build a community around the vision we're all sharing. Inspire other people even if you're just starting yourself. Start as small as with 3-4 people or start huge. Make your Hive better than our Hive. Make some Bzzz.
We're finalising some details on how it's going to work and will be publishing our values and manifesto in the next days. But it is pretty straightforward for everyone who knows us. It's just to help you share what we're doing. And we promise you'll have a lot of entrepreneurial freedom so you might as well start planning now. Think of it as an experiment. We actually encourage you to fail. It's no big deal. At least you tried, right? Worst case scenario, it will make you a better entrepreneur. Consider it a free playing ground!
Here's a simple Google form for those who can't wait to start their own Hive as soon as in 2012. Fill it out and we will follow up with details as they are getting polished to be made public.
Will we have some local or theme Hives in the next 2012 months? Let's see! Yay, this is exciting :)
